Pauline Bailey, 97, of Oblong, IL passed away on Monday August 5, 2019 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL.
Celebration of Pauline’s Life will be at 11:00am Wednesday August 7, 2019 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in Oblong Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 -11:00am Wednesday August 7, 2019 at Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, IL.
She was born in Oblong, IL on July 30, 1922 to Byrl and Vera (Griffin) Brownfield. On July 23, 1939 she married Nolan Bailey who preceded her in death on November 1, 1986.
Pauline was a homemaker and lived her entire life in Oblong, IL.
She is survived by her daughter Myrna and Jim Smith, Huachuca City, AZ; daughter-in law Barb Bailey; five grandchildren Ron Bailey Jr., Naples, FL, Jennie Lynn and Drew Beck, Madison, Al, Vicki and John French, Phoenix, AZ, Greg and Carol Smith, Phoenix, AZ and Kimberly and Mark Mountain, Perry, IL; six Great Grandchildren and four Step Great Grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents Byrl and Vera Brownfield, husband Nolan Bailey, son Ron Bailey Sr., and sister Mildred McMillen.
The Family wishes to thank Ridgeview Care Center and all their staff for their kind care and assistance during Pauline’s remaining years. Also special thanks to nephew Phil and Linda McMillen.
